Couple of days back I booked the tow service of Jorge. I wish I would not have done it! From the communication in advance until the drop off in the end he is everything in one word: unprofessional! He arrived too late at the garage to pick up my van. Every child could have calculated that we gonna arrive at our aim in the dark. What was the aim? I told him the address of a new garage in a different country in the beginning of the drive and he did not check it until 30 minutes before we arrive. I want hereby to clarify that he was in charge of the tow service and he did not check the address to tow. But this is only the start of the list of failures. He also did not use his tow hook to pull the van up. He let the mechanic of the workshop drive and push my van which transmission was destroyed up on his trailer. He also did not fasten correctly the tension belts. The first police controll saw that and Jorge had to fasten it again. By fortune the police stopped him. Otherwise the van may would have fallen down from the trailer while one of his risky overtaking maneuvers in the curves. Not only those behaviors had been risky. He used many times his phone while towing my van and vehicle passengers. Remember: For checking the address he had no time. He also helped his private partner to change her clothes while driving. Why does he take his partner with him while working? I don't know. And I will never find out. Because he spoke so fast and semantically unclear that I could not understand him, when it got to important issues. Very unprofessional. When it got dark and 30 minutes before we should have reached the destintination he finally checked the address and told me that he won't drive there. It seemed to be a risky area. Within this short time to react I had no alternative. He dropped me off in a different part of the city. Before that he wanted the money in cash. I told him that I need a proof of payment. A professional tow service would give it automatically. Firstly, he did not want, because he wanted to send an official invoice in the next day (I wonder how he would have done it without having my personal details?). Until now I did not receive this PDF. But I insisted on a proof of payment so I got one. He had sufficient documents in his car without telling me. Yes, super unprofessional. Eventually we took the car down. Before that I should have signed that everything with my car is fine. Another time I insisted that I first want the car down before signing that my van had no damage. I'm glad I made it because it was super close to get serious damage, if I would not had interrupted twice (...)nA serious Jorge would have offered me to tow the van the next morning to the garage. Jorge told me that he is leaving super early home again. Next day at 1 pm his pick up was still there.nWell, I lost a lot of money and time. Additionally I had and still have stress because of him. I highly recommend everyone not to hire Jorge as tow service. He is unprofessional.
